Review: Ray’s Tavern, Green River UT

Ray’s Tavern
25 S. Broadway
Green River, Utah 84525

We found this gem in historic downtown Green River. Inside, the restaurant was all natural wood, styled like an old wild west saloon. It was decorated with Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Memorabilia as well as framed white water rafting tee-shirts. Ray’s touted their burgers, and that’s what we ordered.

The burgers were very tasty and thick, and the fries were big and hand cut. I got my order without a bun, as usual, and was full when I finished. The atmosphere was homey, and we were the only people in there from out of town. Everyone else knew each other’s names. Including a tip, the meal came to just over $26.00, a little pricey for lunch, but worth the experience.
